As I understand it . . .
Angelo is an arrogant young angel man, selfish and acerbically charming. He's a womanizer. Because of his attitude and his woeful ways, he's begun to grow black feathers in his sleek white wings. He plucks them out regularly, but still . . .
It would appear that he's been abandoned by all things beautiful.


Wolfy's semi-related ramblings:
While it seems sad for him to be lonely or suffering, Angelo *did* ask for it -- Shadi made it clear to me; he's not the nicest person in the world. Now, we can all hope the unpleasant consequences will make him turn around and learn to care for others, but if he doesn't, we can't blame circumstance. We can't. Because, you see, it was the result of his choice.
Now, as a Christ-follower, I think that's pretty much what salvation is about. God asks us, begs us to love one another. That's the only path to real harmony, to real living . . . but we choose otherwise. And in the end, we answer to the consequences, and even if circumstances shaped us, it was our choice to love or to not love.
As I am fond of saying -- "I refuse to be a victim of my mood, my personality, my situation."
I don't know how Angelo's story ends . . . but I have a feeling he learns.
